The triple room was very clean and had central heating, a multi-channel TV, and a writing desk; the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing access to a steam room and a spa pool.

Nothing in particular. The hotel is a bit "out-dated" and in need of a management that not only keep things going as they have for the last 25 years.

The announced "breakfast included" was not available and we were instead directed to the cafeteria next door, probably also operated by the same owner.No real breakfast offer, but simple sanwiches. At no cost, but anyhow...

A friendly and non-intimidating hotel for a solo traveller. A welcoming place for the more mature voyager, and a popular venue for meals, which are tasty and very good value. My room was spotless and comfortable (a family room on the 4th floor, with views - through the velux window - of the mountains). A short weekend, but very enjoyable, and I would go back.

The property was beautifully designed and we had an extra special stay. Super Hotel. We have stayed a few times here now and it never changes. The Staff are extremely helpful and honest - I say 'honest' because I left my new top that I had just received as a present, and left it behind in my room, but on calling in later in the day, was delighted to find that the 'cleaner' had handed it in and it was awaiting my collection in Reception. So very impressed in all.

The only downfall in the Hotel is that they do not have Air Conditioning, and as it was extremely hot when we stayed, it would have been a definite bonus.

Excellant Hotel with very good facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. The in-house Restaurant is excellant, and the meals we experienced were deliciious! Very centrally based, right in the middle of the lovely town of Vielha. Well worth a visit.

The only complaint was that they didn't have air-conditioning, and it was very hot when we stayed there, and it would have been very much appreciated!

The food at Hotel Aran La Abuela was excellent with plenty of alternatives available. the location of the hotel was beautiful, making it convenient for traveling around Vielha. It is really close to Aran Park and hiking trails, located on the main street and near a ferry terminal.

Great meals, extensive menu explained in English. Charming, characterful interior. Convenient central location, with shops and dining options nearby. Wonderful vintage wine selection. Outstanding service from friendly, helpful staff.
